Week 6: Blogs in Blogosphere

I write whatever I want and whatever I like. Yes that rule applies to everyone that interested to start or to write a blog. Again because of new media and internet, people can call blogs as a new diary where it is like an exposed diary where people can read and share anything on it. Once you start to write and post your blog, that means you are part of the blogosphere.

(Example of Blog, http://googleblog.blogspot.com.au)

Blog is not only about writing stuff, moreover people could also post their own photos into their blog or even video and call it vlog or video blog. Believe it or not, doing blogs could lead into a bright career if you keep posting and lots of people love your blog. If you know Garypeppergirl a model and fashion blogger that is very famous among different countries and in the middle of many social medias. She is doing many different kinds of photo shoot and products endorsement from one countries to another counties and post it into her blog.

Talking about blogs and career, sometimes we need to be careful dealing with social media and internet because it could be a boomerang for some people. "The Latter interpretation of emloyee cynicism provided by CMS scholars and argue that being cynical towards corporate culture initiatives need not necessarily lead to an imaginary sense of power." (Richards & Komala 2013) People need to use social media and internet wisely because they need to know which is part of privacy and private stuff that could not be posted on internet. Or else something bad might happened to them, like losing their job for some cases, because it was such an unprofessional things to do blabbering the job outside workplace.

  1. Hi Andres,
I thought the your post was an interesting read. Personally, i thought the picture of the blog added was slightly pointless as to be able to read your post, we are already on a blogging website. I think it is a valid point that users need to be careful and monitor what they are posting online, as it could effect their ability to get jobs in the future, alongside how they are viewed by the general public. It would have been beneficial to see a few more academic references throughout your piece, however overall well done.

  2. Hi Andres,

You blog shares some interesting opinions on the possibilities that comes with blogging and some of the negative impacts blogging can have. You have added some good visuals, and the example with Garypeppergirl is interesting, although it would have improved the post if you had linked to the actual blog for the reader to do further reading of their own. Besides this it could have added some more credibility to the post if you had included more references to the weekly readings.
